Devils V Brummies Is Off

Devils V Brummies Is Off The Plymouth Devils have made an early decision not to race their National League clash with Birmingham on Friday night based on checking six different weather forecasts. These all showed rain from mid-day till mid- afternoon then starting again at 6pm till 10pm .
Co-Promoter Mark Phillips says it was the sensible decision, “ Both Laurence and I have spent the past two days watching all these forecasts and at one stage there was a glimmer of hope but the latest ones are all showing it as being wet, wet, wet!”
“We have already suffered a call off with the Brummies earlier on and their promoter Graham Drury had been looking at the same forecasts as we had. Just as we made the decision to call it off coincidentally he had messaged Laurence to ask is what the plans were ! We are working on a new date with them and will announce this as soon as it is agreed.”
The call off also means a new date to be organised for the Southern Development League clash between Weymouth Wildcats and the Plymouth BUDE BEWERY Demons.
The Devils next meetings are away at the Isle of Wight next Thursday ( August 17th) then home the following night Friday August 18th against Kent Kings plus SDL Demons v Kent Kestrels.
