One big date for the diaries of Plymouth fans will be Thursday July 6th when the club stage the prestigious British Under 19 Championships.
The club, saved from extinction in the winter by Mark Phillips and Laurence Rogers, have been awarded the meeting by the BSPA.
Co-Promoter Phillips is highly pleased with the news, “ When tracks were asked if they would stage the event Laurence and I discussed it and decided to apply for it. We knew we would be up against other more established promoters but we have faith in what we are doing.”Rogers believes it is a big challenge for the club , “ To be given this meeting is a big feather in our cap and we are determined to ensure it will be a total success. Naturally the line-up will not be known for some time but we are hoping that we will have several Devils riders in the line-up . We will have at least three under 19’s in our side in Callum Walker, Henry Atkins and Saul Bulley so we must be in with a chance of seeing some, if not all, of them included.”
