The long awaited National Trophy Final dates have been agreed following Mildenhall being confirmed as the opposition for the Plymouth Devils.
With Kent losing at Eastbourne at the weekend the winners of the other section was finally determined with the Devils having qualified for the Final as far back as June 1st when they won on the Isle of Wight!!
The clubs have agreed to staging the Final over one weekend with the First leg at Plymouth on Friday October 6th and the return at Mildenhall on Sunday October 8th.
Co-Promoter Laurence Rogers is looking forward to the clashes, “ The boys worked hard to get to the Final and we have sat patiently awaiting finding out who we would meet. Now we know it’s full steam ahead to bring some silverware to the St Boniface Arena. October 6th is going to be a great day with the Golf Day being staged that day as well and we aim to have a carnival atmosphere for the Final that night. We have some ideas we are looking at which we will release nearer the date to make it a real party night . We know the Fen Tigers will be a tough opponent over two legs but the lads really want to bring success to the club so will be well up for it.”
